Yes2Jobs, Inc. ("Yes2Jobs," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. Yes2Jobs does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party — ever. Your data is used only to support our programs, communicate with you, and improve our services.

  • Mailing List Signup — Name, email address, and role (student, teacher, employer, partner, donor)

  • Cohort Application — Name, age, contact information, school or organization affiliation, career interests, and program-related information

  • Donation / Payment Processing — Name, billing address, and payment information processed securely through Stripe and PayPal. Yes2Jobs does not store payment card information on our servers

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Standard web server logs, including IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and pages visited

  • Cookies are used solely for essential site functionality, such as session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels

1.3 Information About Minors

Yes2Jobs serves youth ages 16 and older through our cohort programs. Our website is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has submitted personal information through our Site, we will promptly delete it. Parents or guardians who believe their child under 13 has provided personal information to us may contact us at info@yes2jobs.org to request deletion.

If users between the ages of 13 and 17 opt in and provide their information, we collect only the minimum information necessary to support program participation and encourage parental awareness of their participation in Yes2Jobs programs.

2. How We Use Your Information

Yes2Jobs uses the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To send program updates, newsletters, event announcements, and organizational news to subscribers who have opted in

  • To process cohort applications and manage program participation

  • To process donations and provide tax acknowledgment receipts

3.1 Service Providers

We may share information with trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating our website or delivering our programs — including payment processors (Stripe and PayPal), email service providers, and website hosting services. These vendors are contractually obligated to use your information only to provide services to Yes2Jobs and are prohibited from using it for any other purpose.

3.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Yes2Jobs, our participants, or the public.


3.3 Organizational Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or transfer of substantially all of Yes2Jobs' assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify affected users in advance of any such transfer and ensure continued privacy protections.

4. Payment Processing

Donations made through our website are processed by Stripe and PayPal — industry-standard, PCI-DSS-compliant payment processors. Yes2Jobs does not receive, store, or have access to your full credit card or bank account information. All payment data is transmitted directly to and stored by our payment processors in accordance with their respective privacy policies and security standards.

Requests may be submitted by the individual whose information is at issue or by an authorized agent with written permission.

6. Data Retention

Yes2Jobs retains personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Mailing list data is retained until you unsubscribe. Cohort application and program participation data is retained for the duration of your participation and a reasonable period thereafter for record-keeping and alumni engagement purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time as described in Section 5.2.

7. Data Security

Yes2Jobs implements reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include secure HTTPS connections, limited staff access to personal data, and the use of reputable, security-compliant service providers.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights, we will notify affected individuals as required by California law.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Yes2Jobs, Inc. website located at yes2jobs.org (the "Site"). By accessing or using our Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. About Yes2Jobs

Yes2Jobs, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization incorporated in the State of California, with its principal place of business at 6109 S. Western Avenue, Suite 202, Los Angeles, CA 90047. Our mission is to connect underserved and underrepresented youth across Los Angeles to high-growth careers through career discovery, skills-building, AI literacy, and professional networks.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using yes2jobs.org — including submitting any form, applying for a cohort, making a donation, or subscribing to our mailing list — you represent that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you are under 18 years of age, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use this Site and agree to these Terms.

3. Permitted Use of the Site

You may use the Site for lawful purposes only and in a manner consistent with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any content from the Site without prior written permission from Yes2Jobs.

5. User Submissions

When you submit information through our Site — including contact forms, cohort applications, or mailing list signups — you represent that the information you provide is accurate, complete, and current. You grant Yes2Jobs a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use information submitted through program applications and forms solely for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy.

Yes2Jobs does not claim ownership of content you submit. You retain all rights to your personal information and program-related materials. We will handle your submissions in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6. Donations

Donations made through our Site are processed by Stripe and PayPal. All donations to Yes2Jobs, Inc. are made voluntarily and are generally tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law as contributions to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Yes2Jobs will provide donation receipts upon request.

Yes2Jobs reserves the right to use donated funds in accordance with its mission and organizational priorities. Donations are non-refundable except at the sole discretion of Yes2Jobs in cases of processing error. If you believe a donation was processed in error, please contact us at info@yes2jobs.org within 30 days of the transaction.

7. Cohort Applications and Program Participation

Submission of a cohort application does not guarantee enrollment in a Yes2Jobs program. Yes2Jobs reserves the right to accept or decline applications at its sole discretion based on program capacity, eligibility criteria, and cohort requirements. Enrollment decisions will be communicated directly to applicants.

Program participants and their parents or guardians (for participants under 18) may be asked to sign a separate program participation agreement, media release, or liability waiver as a condition of enrollment. These documents will be provided at the time of enrollment.

8. Minors

Yes2Jobs programs serve youth ages 16 and older. Our Site is not directed to children under the age of 13. Users between the ages of 13 and 17 should review these Terms with a parent or guardian before using the Site or submitting any information. By using the Site, users under 18 represent that they have obtained parental or guardian consent.

Yes2Jobs complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware of such collection, we will delete the information promptly.

9. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT, PROGRAMS, AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. YES2JOBS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

Yes2Jobs makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information on the Site. Career outcomes, employment placements, and program results described on the Site reflect individual experiences and are not guarantees of similar results for all participants.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by California and federal law, Yes2Jobs, Inc., its board of directors, officers, staff, volunteers, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site, your participation in Yes2Jobs programs, or any information obtained through the Site.

Yes2Jobs' total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall not exceed the amount you paid to Yes2Jobs in the twelve months preceding the claim, if any.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Yes2Jobs, Inc. and its board, officers, staff, volunteers, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses — including reasonable attorneys' fees — arising out of or related to your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or the rights of a third party.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
